Love mercy

Run lab x Love Mercy – Uganda Trip November 2015

Outline

Julius Achon Cross Country date – Saturday November 14th (TBC)

Proposal: Take a team of approx. 10 people from Sydney on an observation and training trip to Uganda.

The purpose of the trip would be to train in Uganda at altitude with Eloise and Julius, and also be spectators and helpers at the Cross Country Race. The race is coordinated by an American team from Nike. Our team would be there as extra helping hands, to organise things such as buying prizes, transport, handing out water and t-shirts, and would of course compete in the open divisions.

The team can also visit the other Love Mercy projects including Cents for Seeds and the Kristina Health centre to tour the area, meet the project participants and see first hand the difference that our programs make.

The trip would not be about ‘doing’ so much as ‘seeing’ and ‘experiencing’ Uganda. We would also spend 2-3 nights at the game park at the end of the trip to go on safari and relax before heading home.
