🔥 BROOKLYN SUPERSESSION– Built for UTA

THE GNW Brooklyn supersession is to prepare you — physically and mentally — for your upcoming races, especially Ultra-Trail Australia. We are inviting you – Up to 25 runners who are looking for an epic day out on the trails. Whilst many of those attending may be coached by Runlab online or onground – Any runners are more than welcome – Entries OPEN below

Brooklyn offers everything that matters:

  • Long, grinding climbs

  • Technical descents

  • Rolling runnable fatigue

  • Heat, exposure, and honest terrain

It’s tough.
But that’s exactly the point.

If you’re preparing for UTA or any trail race this season, you need:

  • Strength under fatigue

  • Climbing durability

  • Downhill control when your quads are cooked

  • The ability to stay composed when it gets uncomfortable

This run is designed to give you that edge.

THE SPECIFICS

Options to run between 14-24km – Cost $49 per person

Arrive at Brooklyn ready to catch the 7:55am train to Cowan on Saturday 14th March. From there we will split the group into either those doing the 14km run from Cowan back to base at Brooklyn, or those taking on extra and tackling a stunning 5km out and back before then running from Cowan to Brooklyn. All levels are welcome although you should be able to complete a minimum of a 14km trail run. We will have Coaches guiding all groups.

WHAT TO BRING

Hydration vest – minimum 2.5 Litres hydration, extra food portions (Gels etc), Mobile phone, Emergency space blanket (yes even if warm), rain jacket (ruling the day before the run in the Friday email to all registered runners) a snake bandage, a towel and a change of clothes for the end. We will finish at McKell Park in Brooklyn which has facilities allowing you to cool off with a swim. We will have FIXX Nutrition available for all runners and cold drinks available at the end too.
