WHAT IS “SUMMER SESSIONS”?

Summer Sessions, run outside our regular terms. In 2018 – There are 4 weeks between new years and the start of Term 1. For any runner looking to maintain/improve or in fact to relaunch their running for 2018 events – there simply isn’t a better time to train. Generally at this time of year you also have more time and flexibility with work/school to allow you to give your running some added attention. On top of this, these sessions are slightly longer and will often unique to our regular term sessions. So commit and jump onboard today!

Myrungroup MEREWETHER Tuesdays 5:45am and MAITLAND 5:30pm Tuesdays (30 Spots only)

Runstrong NEWCASTLE Wednesdays 5:45pm (25 Spots)

Mytrailgroup NEWCASTLE Thursdays 5:30pm (Strictly 30 spots)

Commences 2nd January!

 

SYDNEY

Myrungroup 5:45pm DOMAIN Mondays and 5:45am Alexandria Fridays (20 Spots per class)

Domain 1 Marathon Warmup – 30 mins of stair repeats in any order ie 2 times 10 minutes hard etc to overload runners followed by a 20 minute effort at target Marathon Pace on a Flat circuit. Out the front of the Art Gallery – Note the first session is on Tuesday 2nd 6am – All other weeks Monday 6pm
Merewether 1 Marathon Warmup – 30 mins of stair repeats in any order ie 2 times 10 minutes hard etc to overload runners followed by a 20 minute effort at target Marathon Pace on a Flat circuit. Meet Blue Door Merewether Tue 2nd 5:45am
Maitland 1 Marathon Warmup – 30 mins of stair repeats in any order ie 2 times 10 minutes hard etc to overload runners followed by a 20 minute effort at target Marathon Pace on a Flat circuit. Meet East Maitland Tue 2nd 5:30pm. Meet Elgin Street Maitland Park – We will run and to a stair set at High street station before returning to Maitland park for Tempo!
Runstrong 1 CORE FOCUS TRX supersets/Bosu/balls/banded pressure pockets/slider supersets The Concept – George Street Highfields. 5:30 for a 5:45pm start Wednesday 3rd
Trail Hunter 1 Ultra Sand efforts with 1km Loop times 3 Dudley Beach Carpark 5:30pm Thursday the 4th

If you want to do for example Myrungroup and Runstrong sessions for the four weeks – Simply purchase 2 * 4 Passes!

FAQ

Where are the sessions? Exact location of some sessions could change slightly week 2 week to offer different session types. Runstrong will run out of UpnAdam in Newcastle and Mytrailgroup will start in and around the Glenrock reserve.

What if I can only make 3 of the 4 sessions? The option is to buy Casual slots OR as we noted earlier we have more flexibility at this time of year, plan ahead and do 2 sessions in one of the four weeks!
