LAMBTON and NEWCASTLE

TUESDAY 4:00PM Fearnley Dawes Athletic Centre (Smith Street Newcastle West). Track

Terms run for 10 weeks
Term 1 commences week of 2nd February
Term 2 commences week of 29th April
Term 3 commences week of 22nd July
Term 4 commences week of 14th October

Our Newcastle Tuesday afternoon YOUNG GUNS group trains in Lambton. Our usual training location is at the “Blue Track – Fearnley Dawes Athletic Centre. An additional user pass is required to pay for track usage from the venue event site. Occasionally we will meet at an alternate nearby venue so we encourage you to check your weekly Runlab e-news and the Runlab website. See Weekly session updates on the homepage underneath the timetable. We train in the rain and only cancel sessions in extreme weather warnings. These notifications will be on your local Runlab Facebook page and be sent to you as a notification. All term runners receive the added benefits of becoming a Runlab runner in addition to our weekly training sessions.

Sessions run for 60 minutes and your trainers are Vlad Shatrov and Benn Coubrough. Hydration and a sports towel are recommended for all sessions with valuables (keys) able to be secured with the coach for those parents wanting to go for a run whilst the session is on, otherwise drop back after an hour. We look forward to training with you in this dynamic group where you will be motivated, challenged and educated in your running so over time you will #achieveyourimpossible.

 

THURSDAY 4:00PM NEWCASTLE. Trail

In Term 4 – Our THURSDAY young guns session becomes a TRAIL session. Sessions will usually be run from The Merewether Top Carpark or Gun Club road – just off City Road in Adamstown Heights.

This is our larger YOUNG GUNS squad of up to 30 runners and we have 2 Coaches. See Weekly session updates on the homepage underneath the timetable. If you are going to miss your planned weekly session, don’t worry – just make it up at another of the weekly sessions in your area (LINK to timetable)
