SATURDAY 6:00AM Hunter (Every second week)

Terms run for 10 weeks.

Term 1 commences week of 29th January
Term 2 commences week of 23rd April
Term 3 commences week of 23rd July
Term 4 commences week of 8th October

Note: In Term 1 2018 we will run 6 Saturday sessions. Therefore to attend all 6 – Purchase 1 – 5 Pass and 1 Casual Pass. This is in WEEK 1,2,4,5,7 and 9 with the First Saturday being 3rd February!

 

 In addition to the weekly training sessions all Runlab runners receive all our members benefits!

Our Saturday Mytrailgroup is an extended session and runs for at least 90 minutes (Running in Terms 1 and 4 only) we cater for varying levels of Trailrunner in the Saturday session . Our usual training location is Glenrock reserve (HOWEVER expect at least 2 of the 6 Saturday sessions to be in locations up to 60 minutes drive from Newcastle CBD ) and our usual meeting spot is the top carpark of Merewether baths near the corner of Robinson street and Scenic drive. Here runners will see the Coach, review the session plan and then run into one of the access points of Glenrock reserve to complete the session. Most sessions are run on the trails and this can be a combination of Firetrail, single track, sand and some bike paths and access roads. Whilst this is our meeting location for approximately half of the sessions we will meet at other points including Dudley Beach, Gun Club Road and King Edward park so we encourage you to check your weekly Runlab e-news and the Runlab website. See Weekly session updates on the homepage underneath the timetable. We train in the rain and only cancel sessions in extreme weather warnings. These notifications will be on your local Runlab Facebook page and be sent to you as a notification. All term runners receive the added benefits of becoming a Runlab runner in addition to our weekly training sessions. If you are going to miss your planned weekly session, don’t worry – just make it up at another of the weekly sessions in your area 

This group stands as the ideal stand-alone running session for some runners whilst for others it is the ideal “Double-up” group in the Hunter area for those wanting to train more than once a week your trainers are Vlad Shatrov and Adam Clarke. A hydration pack, trail shoes and a sports towel are recommended for all sessions with valuables (keys) able to be secured with the coach. We look forward to training with you in this dynamic group where you will be motivated, challenged and educated in your running so over time you will #achieveyourimpossible.
